Beat the Heat: Top Motorcycle Jackets for Summer Riding
We know your summer ride isn’t limited to just Urban roads. It ranges from summer adventures to sport touring and much more. Read on to know what’s best for all your summer rides! Let’s start with jackets.

Summers! There's so much to them than what meets the eye, literally! *Wears sunglasses* We love it, especially when it comes to riding on that hot set of tarmac! Pick any rider of your choice and one of their riding stories will start with “It was a fine summer day….”.

However, that story will also have a part about wanting to have a comfortable yet effective jacket for the summers. The one that balances between keeping your body at the lowest possible temperatures, provides great protection, fits well, is lightweight, breathes well and of course, all that without losing the charm of motorcycle clothing.

Well, we know it could be difficult to find a jacket that does the job well, hence, we've put together a list to make it easier for you since it is a decision that can't be taken in a mo. So here you go…..

Furthermore, the hem and wrists come with elastic to optimise riding ability and the inside pocket has a windproof front fold–out. Also, if you pay attention to the details, you will notice the central zip comes with a scratch–proof and tank–protector double flap. All this brought together makes this jacket a companion for city roads, but that’s just the beginning.

While the collar inserts are made from polyester stretch, you can better the waterproofing with an optional membrane including the standard shoulder and elbow protectors. The vented mesh is not only for body and sleeve but for cuff as well, which are also resistant to tearing and abrasion. You will find the jacket’s inner collar in microfleece, the lining in mesh. Please note that the jacket also has a provision to predisposition for waterproof and breathable membrane, which is sold separately.

Ixon M-Njord jacket: The Ixon M-Njord is a laminated, waterproof, breathable jacket which also offers comfort and freedom of movement for your summer adventure riding. While the outer material is hard mesh and Polyester ripstop plus a 4-way stretch mesh, the internals are taken care of by the soft and 3D mesh.
