Step 1 - Prep
● Remove impact protectors
● Undo all zippers, Velcro, and buckles
● Shake off surface dirt; use a soft brush if needed
Step 2 - Detergent
● Prefer: Tech-wash, neutral unscented liquid detergent, woollen liquid detergent, or baby shampoo
● Avoid: Granular powders and heavily scented liquid detergents
Step 3 - Soak
● Dissolve 1 cap of detergent in lukewarm water
● Soak for at least 30 minutes; avoid hot water
Step 4 - Wash and Rinse
● Agitate and scrub by hand, focusing on greasy spots
● Rinse thoroughly until detergent is gone; use a soft brush if needed
Step 5 - Dry and Store
● Hang to dry in a cool, shaded, well-ventilated area
● Store in a cool, dry place away from dust
● Do not wring, tumble dry, iron, bleach, or expose to direct sunlight
