The jacket’s contemporary design sets it apart with a sleek, forward-thinking aesthetic. Special attention has been made to provide both a touring identity on trims and features such as the seamless pocket bellows and reflective films that offer enhanced visibility, as well as for the bold branding ALPINESTARS EXPLORATION EQUIPMENT. Softshell inserts on the lower sides further enhance its outdoor-inspired, modern look.Comfort and fit are carefully considered, with volume adjusters on the biceps allowing riders to personalize the jacket for optimal mobility and ease of movement. Practicality is equally prioritized, offering multiple storage options including a chest pocket, two lateral pockets, and a rear pocket for carrying essentials. Additional design elements such as a soft comfort collar edging, adjustable cuffs and forearms, and a lengthened lower back tailored to the rider’s position contribute to long-distance comfort, while a zippered pants attachment enhances integration with riding gear. The jacket’s construction combines a lightweight stretch softshell base with localized laser perforations for added airflow, reinforced by high tear-resistant ripstop material at the shoulders and elbows. Wide tech mesh panels are strategically placed across key areas like the chest, inner arms, and back to channel fresh air through the jacket while effectively dissipating body heat. This balanced combination of materials ensures durability without compromising on ventilation or comfort. For protection, the ST-2 Air Jacket comes equipped with Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 protectors on the shoulders and elbows, offering excellent impact protection while maintaining flexibility and comfort. It is also CE Level AA certified, meeting stringent standards for abrasion resistance, impact protection, and ergonomic performance. Additionally, the jacket is Tech-Air ready, allowing compatibility with Alpinestars’ advanced airbag systems for enhanced rider safety.
